After the meal, he brought out a tea set, roasted a few ounces of tea leaves, ground them into powder, and placed teacups in front of the guests. Then he took a teacup and poured hot water into it to make a cup of tea. Then he handed it to the guest of honor and said, “This is a cup of墨茶, a specialty of our local. Please try it.” The guest of honor took a sip and couldn't help but exclaim, “Good tea!”

The other guests were also very curious, so they each picked up a teacup and took a sip. They all praised the墨茶's fragrance and flavor. Some of the guests even asked 苏东坡 where they could buy this kind of tea. 苏东坡 told them that the 墨茶 was not available for sale, but he promised that he would give each of them a few ounces of the tea when they left.
